Baby Apples is 19 weeks... almost half way there!

This week we hit the 19 week mark. I am still eagerly waiting to feel movement, but hearing the heart beat each doctor visit reminds me to be patient. Our little guy or gal is taking his/her time, which shouldn't surprise me if the baby is anything like me when it comes to "taking one's time". The same thing happened with the heart beat appointment. When went in for our ten week appointment, ready and excited to hear that sweet sweet sound, baby was not cooperating and made us wait another 2 weeks before he/she would cooperate. Oh, how the Lord is already teaching me patience through this little tot!

The last few weeks have finally calmed day after a month of consecutive week and weekend ministry events. We decided to camp out (literally we made a tent in the living room) and hibernate from the world for a few days while out teens and college students were away on spring break. Needless to say, it was awesome.

On Easter Sunday we decided to take full advantage of our ski passes (and the fact that we attended the   Vigil Mass) and hit the slopes with our good friends Kelley Hogan and Tommy Myers. It was a blast! Beautiful weather and not a cloud in the sky. Talk about a way to celebrate the resurrection, taking in the views at 11,000 feet with good friends and lots of laughter. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Here are a few updated bump pics and some pictures from Easter Sunday skiing. Enjoy!
